The church is listed by Historic England as Grade II and is situated in Derbyshire within the Diocese of Derby. Simon Gratton is the Church Architect.

The church had been experiencing spalling plaster and damp staining to ceiling boarding and we were asked to advise on the likely cause and course of action.

Following a survey and preparation of details, we liaised and procured an agreed quotation from a specialist conservation contractor – a contractor with a record and competency of working on listed buildings. We assisted the church in the provision of information necessary for the DAC and administered the site works under the terms of a building contract.

The existing timbers were assessed for rot and decay before we laid our new deck, stepped and rolled to fall and ready for the new sand cast lead.
